Week 43 ( Oct 22- Oct 28 )

This week was all about the colors of the fall. We were loving the cooler weather and tried everyday to go out and enjoy. Lots of visits to the parks around us. I enrolled Zain in an indoor gym because I know the weather will be cold soon and we might not be able to do park fun like usual. He loved the trial class we took last week and this week when he went to the regular class he loved his teacher. The only funny thing was her teacher's name is Ms. Jenna but he couldn't say that for some odd reason and keeps calling her Mr. Jemma.

Enjoy week 43 photographs ☺︎

Week 42 ( Oct 15- Oct 21 )

Fall is probably my favorite season living in New England. The colors of nature are incredible this time of the year. You cannot help  but be taken in by this natural beauty. Every year we try to do some day trips on the weekends to places around Boston to enjoy the vibrant colors. During the weekdays though Zain and I do our own fun activities and since the weather was still so great we took every opportunity to go out and enjoy ourselves.

Week 41 ( Oct 8- Oct 14 )

This week marks our return to Boston. It's funny how when we were in Pakistan, we missed our Boston home and things about it, now that we are back, we miss things about Pakistan. I guess its just human nature that you are never truly content with what you have.

We had a great flight coming back. Actually we got super lucky, as both ways we had extra seats on the plane so Zain slept on two seats very nicely and therefore the whole journey was very comfortable for all of us. I was also very excited because I had pre-ordered my new iPhone 6S in rose gold. So when I got back, it was waiting for me.

The weather was just incredible here and fall was in full swing. There was lots to do and fall colors were all around. I just love fall in New England. It's a photographer's dream come true. I can't get enough of nature's beauty and all praise to Allah for creating it.

Here are this week's photographs;

Week 40 ( Oct 1- Oct 7 )

This week started with us still on our family mini vacation. We had the best time together with our parents. The only thing I kept thinking though, was that this was our last week in Pakistan. Next week we were flying back to Boston. I had stayed there for 6 weeks and the time went by far too quickly. I guess its true that happy times go by fast, its when one is in trouble, only then time seems to crawl by.

We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family. Its sad that we don't get to see them everyday but the important thing is that we love and care for each other immensely. We will try our best to give Zain a chance to stay connected to all our family. For this reason, we love video chatting especially with the grandparents. This way everyone sees each other and it feels like you are meeting every day.

Here are some of our memorable photos from week 40:

Week 39 ( Sept 24- Sept 30 )

This was by far the most eventful week during our entire trip of Pakistan. We celebrated Zain's early second birthday with the family, celebrated Eid-ul-Azha and went on a fun mini family vacation to the northern areas. I could go on and on about each event separately but it would take forever. In a nutshell, it was so much fun, not only for us but Zain too. He got to experience all of this with the close family around him and him being the center of attention.

Here are this week's highlights through photographs:

Week 38 ( Sept 17- Sept 23 )

The highlight of this week was that my husband was finally joining us in Pakistan on our extended vacation. Incidently, he was arriving a day after his birthday. I had planned a surprise birthday dinner in his honor. He is an avid cricket fan, so a custom cricket themed cake seemed appropriate and luckily it turned out great!

Here are my week's worth of photos, hope you like them.

Week 37 ( Sept 10- Sept 16 )

We had a great time during our visit to Pakistan. Met old friends and family, tried new restaurants and just relaxed in general. It's very different from our life in Boston, where we do everything ourselves. Back home we have a lot of domestic help and sometimes you feel a little bored sitting doing nothing because everything is automatically being taken cared for. So for six weeks that I was there, I did no cooking, cleaning, laundry or felt the need to drive myself.

Its definitely a luxury you don't realize till you no longer have it. ☺︎

Playdate at my friend's place when electricity decided to play a little game
